News & Items

A happily broad stroke of luck this last year, I've been hired to create a pair of Flash-based animations for the upcoming feature, Synecdoche, New York, written and directed by Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). Unfortunately, I can't post any previews... but I assure you that 'Cow & Jackal' will be a big hit with the kiddies come next summer.

My good friend Matteo over at Trophy Dad recently recruited me to create a bakers dozen plus of courtroom-style sketches for one of the comedy troupe's videos. While I'm not sure that the sketches ever found their way to an audience, they can be found here. And Trophy Dad can be found here.

I've also been helping out over on dudershow, which can be found here.

July 4th, 2006 - Collaboration with TS Whalen (who can be found here) on his brilliantly Einsteinian short, e=mc2^b, has at long last concluded, and goes live on his brand new site today. Congratulations and bottles of Oregonian pinot all around.

Past Projects

December 3, 2005 : Remedies
Writted/performed by Julie Klein.
Directed by Emma Rikka.
Part of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater's
Downstairs Series.
St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery, NYC.
Based on Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story The Yellow Wallpaper.

I was recruited by Emma to create an animated wallpaper for the set. Layering a set of pre-rendered AfterEffects animations - one can be seen here - with live puppetry shot inside a fishtank, the projections were meant to build the character of the wallpaper within the play.
